Our application interacts with third-party services to provide content and improve stability.
All movie metadata (posters, ratings, overviews) is fetched from the TMDB API. We do not modify this data. Usage is subject to TMDB’s terms. FlixZone is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Some movie details include a “Watch Trailer” button that opens a deep-link to YouTube where trailers are hosted. Once users leave FlixZone, they are subject to Google/YouTube privacy terms, not ours.
FlixZone uses Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics. Crashlytics may collect: device model, OS version, and stack traces when errors occur. This is used only to improve stability. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.
FlixZone uses Hive local database caching to store movie data offline and improve performance. Cached data stays on the device, is never shared externally, and can be removed by uninstalling.
All network communication with TMDB runs through encrypted HTTPS channels. We take reasonable steps to protect user data.
FlixZone is not intended for children under 13. Movie content may be suitable only for older audiences. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us.
FlixZone does not collect or store any form of PII.
